Abstract
This research to analyse and identify difference of performance HM Sampoerna before acquisition in year 2003-2004 and after acquisition in 2005-2006. This research use financial ratio are : Du Pont analysis, ratio liquidity, ratio leverage, ratio activity, ratio profitability, ratio value market, EVA, MVA, present value valuation and PER valuation to assess intrinsic value of share at the time of acquisition. Approach of present value and approach PER indicating that intrinsic value is higher than share price at the time of acquisition. Du Pont analysis show earnings and HPP represent key success factor HM Sampoerna. Performance of HM Sampoerna after acquisition progressively mount, this reflect from profitability ratio, EVA and of MVA.
