Abstract

This research aims to find out and explain the influence of the work environment which consists of Physical and Non-Physical Work Environment on the performance of employees of PT. Maspion Surabaya. The research data was obtained from questionnaires, literature studies, and several direct observations according to the research objectives. The analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. The number of samples is 50 employees. The results of the analysis show that the physical work environment has a significant positive effect on employee performance of 0.268. The regression coefficient of the physical work environment variable is 0.323 on employee performance assuming that the other variable values remain constant. While the results of the analysis show that the non-physical work environment has a significant positive effect on employee performance of 0.471. The regression coefficient of the non-physical work environment is 0.255 on the performance of employees assuming the other variable values remain constant. Simultaneously the physical and non-physical environments have a strong influence as evidenced by the R-Square value (0.104).
