Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to make a strategic business plan of PT. Prima Seafood. This company is a specially store whose sell many kind of fresh and good quality seafood, fresh vegetables and seasoning seafood with a cook service at store and delivery order service. This plan is new at Surabaya because its combine supermarket and restaurant (supermarket because its sell seafood and vegetables, restaurant because they can cook the seafood for the customer in many kind of cookery). This scope business plan is at Surabaya, for the beginning the location at West Surabaya. To know the opportunity of this plan, I have made a marketing research using a simple random questionnaire with personnel survey to 400 person respondents, in order to know about Surabaya's people awareness of seafood, acceptability of store, affordability of price range, availability of place (location to buy a seafood) and appropriateness of business. The result of this research shows that this plan has market segment to a middle up customers who like a fresh and good quality of seafood but not too expensive and don 't has time to cook and not always have time to go to buy seafood at store. The keywords of this plan are fresh and good quality of seafood, good service with delicious cookery and fast delivery.
