The results are analyzed to get the correlation coefficient of -0.307 with p = 0.030 (p <0.05) negative correlation between the intensity of verbal abuse committed by mothers of children with emotional intelligence of the mother. Effective contribution of the variable intensity of verbal abuse by the mother of the child with the mother's emotional intelligence amounts to 9.4% 90.6% so that there are still other factors that cause women to verbal abuse on children, namely social norms, social values, social inequality, and the level of low parental education. most of the research subjects have the intensity of verbal abuse and emotional intelligence is high (20%).
