Abstract
This manuscript appearing in J. Mukundan (Ed.) Focus in ELT Materials is developed from a workshop presented. It is expected to enable the participants in the seminar to experience a model of cooperative class where cooperative learning takes place. As it appears in a book, it is also the readers of the book to explore a range of interactive exercises injecting the seven functions of language, and to appreciate the importance of adapting existing materials creatively.
