Abstract
This study evaluated one of teacher-developed English coursebooks used in an English course for EFL students. The participants of the study were the users; the English teacher and the students of the English course. The evaluation was based on six different criteria; they were the content (organization & selection), vocabulary, grammar, exercises and activities, and also clarity of instructions. A checklist related to the evaluation criteria was prepared for the researcher as the teacher to use, and a questionnaire was prepared for the students as well. There were also interviews with the students for triangulation. The expected result was to find out whether the course book fulfilled the criteria and the finding of this study provided suggestions for improvement and was expected to be fruitful for the future development of the English course.
