Abstract
The research entitled "The Management Strategy Analysis With SWOT Perspective on PT. Coca Cola Distribution Indonesia. East Java Unit", is intended to (1) discover the strategic position of PT. Coca Cola Distribution Indonesia East Java Unit as the basic development of the suitable competition strategy in the future, and (2) discover the possibility of taking the strategic step by PT. Coca Cola Distribution Indonesia East Java Unit to maintain the life and the development of the company. This research is limited only to the SWOT analysis of the company which is the object of the research through Internal Factors Evaluation (IFE), and External Factors Evaluation (EFE), then it becomes the basic point to decide the company position in the EFE matrix & EFE matrix which is used as the basic determination of the strategy alternative for the company which is the object of the research. The result of the research indicates that the strategic position of PT.CCDI East Java Unit on Cell V which is the hold and maintain strategy district cell in the matrix. It occurs since the EFE Matrix Score is 2,683 and the IFE Matrix Score is 2,972. The cell V's position indicates that the external environment influence is medium, which means we have the chance to do business in soft drink though small, and the obstacles are not too big although there are some competitor companies such as Sosro Tea and Pepsi, PT. CCDI East Java Unit still exist since it was the market leader on soft drink market and also because of many different products from the competitor. The internal environment influence of the company is medium and it is considered to be larger than the external influence. In this position, the most possible strategy for PT.CCDI East Java Unit is hold and maintain strategy which tends to approach the grow and build strategy, with the Market Penetration strategy and the Product Development strategy being the most suitable.
