Abstract

Distres diabetes merupakan suatu respon psikologi negatif yang dialami oleh penderita Diabetes Melitus (DM) karena tekanan atau kekhawatiran terhadap penyakit DM yang dideritanya. Distres dapat memengaruhi kualitas tidur pada penderita DM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan distres dengan kualitas tidur pada penderita DM tipe 2. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling sebagai pemilihan sampelnya. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu penderita DM tipe 2. Penelitian ini berbasis sintesis literature dan didapatkan dari artikel yang valid seperti Elsevier, Google Scholar, Emerald Insight, dan Sciencedirect. 10 artikel yang direview terdapat persamaan dengan topik penelitian sebanyak 9 artikel (90%) pada desain penelitian, 6 artikel (60%) pada populasi, 6 artikel (60%) pada teknik sampling, 6 artikel (60%) pada kuesioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, 5 artikel (50%) pada kuesioner Diabetes Distress Scale, dan 1 artikel (50%) pada teknik analisa data. 10 artikel memiliki hasil hipotesis 1 diterima dan tidak ditemukan artikel dengan hipotesis 1 ditolak. Penelitian ini memiliki keunggulan variabel independen distres yang lebih spesifik terhadap penderita DM tipe 2.
