Abstract

This research entitled "Pengaruh Pelatihan Sumber Daya Manusia dan Ketepatan Pemberian Kompensasi terhadap Konsistensi Produksi pada PT. Prestasi Ide Jaya (PT. PIJ)" aim to analyse influence of human resource training program and the accuracy of compensation to job consistency. The method employed is the descriptive qualitative method. The research population is the entire company employees and the sampling method is purposive sampling. The number of sample is 312. The instruments to collect data are observation, interviews, documentary analysis, and questionnaries. The main focus of the research is labour in the production floor, instead of the total number of the employees. The result of the research conclude that training initially has positive factors contributing to production consistency; but in the end, the positive influence is not sustainable due to the fact that training was not conducted in accordance with the steps of training process. In addition, the accuracy of giving compensation based on the UMR (Regional Minimum Wage) as the base wage - without any discrepancy between incentive and benefit for the workers – has obstructed the productivity of worker - has obstructed the productivity of workers who have been employed at the company for a long time, resulting in the failure to achieve production consistency.
