Abstract

Computer became popular among business community or education causing ethic problem in its usage. One of the ethic problems is software piracy on individual level or popularly called as softlifting. This research tries to analyze softlifting in student community that based on Theory of Planned Behavior. The respondents are 280 students in Surabaya. The result shows that not all external factors motive internal factors. It also shows that not all internal factors motive students to do softlifting. This research also found some factor that motive negatively, it will discuss in this paper.
