Abstract
Penyakit legioner adalah penyakit menular yang menyebabkan pneumonia. Protein macrophage infectivity potentiator (Mip) adalah polipeptida 24 kDa dan diketahui berperan dalam patogenisitas Legionella. Dalam penelitian ini, simulasi dinamika molekuler dilakukan pada bentuk apo protein Mip Legionella pneumophila untuk mendapatkan gambaran sifat struktural dan konformasinya. Konformasi awal diambil dari Protein Data Base (PDB) 2VCD dan ligan rapamycin dihilangkan. Simulasi dinamika molekuler 200 ns menunjukkan nilai RMSD rata-rata untuk semua atom protein dan untuk atom tulang belakang masing-masing pada 0,28 dan 0,20 nm. Residu yang paling fleksibel berdasarkan perhitungan rata-rata RMSF dan dilihat dari perubahan dPCA adalah P117. Hasil analisis dPCA menunjukkan perubahan konformasi protein Mip.
