Abstract
PT. ISM. Bogasari Flour Mills surabaya berlokasi di Jalan Nilam Timur No.16 Tanjung Perak-Surabaya menempati luas tanah sebesar ±14 Ha dengan jumlah karyawan per September 2014 adalah 816 orang. PT. ISM. Bogasari Flour Mills Surabaya memiliki kapasitas produksi giling sebesar 5.890 ton/hari. Untuk menjaga persediaan bahan baku (gandum), PT. ISM. Bogasari Flour Millls Surabaya memiliki Wheat Silo sebanyak 84 buah dengan kapasitas total 210.600 ton, serta 60 buah Pellet Silo dengan kapasitas total 60.000 ton. Dengan kapasitas produksi tersebut PT. ISM. Bogasari Flour Mills berharap dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen akan tepung terigu. Adapun perincian dari pabrik tepung terigu PT. ISM. Bogasari Flour Mills Surabaya adalah sebagai berikut : Bentuk Perusahaan : Perseroan Terbatas (PT) Lokasi Pabrik : Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak Surabaya Sistem Operasi : Kontinyu Kapasitas Produksi : 5.890 ton/hari Bahan pengemas : Kantong plastik (polyprophelene bag) Proses pembuatan tepung gandum dilakukan dengan cara proses pembersihan gandum first cleaning dan second cleaning, lalu dilakukan proses conditioning. Selanjutnya gandum digiling di roller mill dan diayak sampai memenuhi ukuran tepung sebesar < 200 µm. Hasil produk tepung dikemas lalu dipasarkan ke konsumen.
