This study examines the people who have a tendency to speak some foreign languages. The writer collected the data by using a Walkman tape recorder as the audio recording and a list of questions. The data are gathered from the fourth subjects, using a list of questions that has been prepared by the writer. And then she clarifies the results and analyzed it by having observation at their social background. She also analyzed the data based on the parameters (setting, participant, relationship, topic and the function of interaction). Based on the analysis, the writer found out that in the results of data analysis showed there were some factors of similarities and also some factors of differences among the subjects in obtaining a new foreign language. She also describes the occasion of the foreign language used by the four subjects using parameters. Since this study is limited in terms of the number of subjects, the place where the study was conducted, and the data used, it is far from being perfect. That is why the writer would like to suggest that the next research would be much better and more sophisticated.
